Sustainable planet, sustainable health – how science-based solutions can drive transformative change


Date: Wednesday 1 June 2022
Venue: At the joint Stockholm University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology Albano Campus and online

In June 2022, the Government of Sweden will host the Stockholm+50 conference to commemorate 50 years since the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment was held in Stockholm in 1972.

In conjunction with Stockholm+50, the University Alliance Stockholm Trio – Karolinska Institutet, KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Stockholm University – together with Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI), will organize a one-day conference. The "Sustainable planet, sustainable health – how science-based solutions can drive transformative change" conference will showcase how science can and must contribute to solutions and the transformative change needed in the next decades to reach global targets. 

The conference will take place on 1 June 2022 at the joint Stockholm University and KTH Royal Institute of Technology Albano Campus and online.

This will be a hybrid event with the opportunity for both physical and online attendance. Physical attendance will be on a first come, first served basis as there are only a max. of 600 seats available. Please note that due to Covid-19, there might be upcoming changes as government restrictions develop.
