The University Main Building is situated in the centre of the town, close to the cathedral. It was built in the 1880s and today it is used for lectures, conferences, concerts and academic festivities.

ENGLISH PARK CAMPUS
The English Park Campus provides research and education in theology, the humanities and social sciences, offering subjects such as archaeology and ancient history, gender research, English, philosophy, history, history of science and ideas, art history, cultural anthropology and ethnology, linguistics and philology, literature, modern languages, musicology, Scandinavian languages, sociology and theology. Here you will also find the Hugo Valentin Centre, the Choral Centre and the Karin Boye Library.
